Built in 1954, the home is still occupied by the original client and owner. Spend a day touring the famed architectural masterpieces of Columbus, Indiana, ranked sixth in the United States for architectural innovation and design by the American Institute of Architects. See works by such luminaries as Eero Saarinen, I.M. Pei, Robert Venturi and Richard Meier. Travel to Ohio to experience Wright's stunning two-story Usonian design, Boulter House, followed by a tour of Wright's only Prairie style design in the state, Westcott House. Join in a special centennial celebration of the house including an address by Eric Lloyd Wright, architect and grandson of Frank Lloyd Wright. The journey concludes with a visit to Cincinnati and a stay at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, world renowned example of Art Deco design, and a tour of Zaha Hadid's Lois and Richard Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art.

Thursday, September 4
Morning departure from the Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio in Oak Park for West Lafayette, IN. Enjoy a group lunch and then tour Wright’s SAMARA House, built in 1954 and still occupied by the original client and owner, Dr. John E. Christian. Transfer to Columbus, IN and check into Hotel Indigo, followed by a group dinner in downtown Columbus.
Friday, September 5
Spend a day touring the famed architectural masterpieces of Columbus, IN, including works by Eero Saarinen, I.M. Pei, Robert Venturi and Richard Meier. Travel to Cincinnati and enjoy refreshments at the former site of the historic Rookwood Pottery Company, an international center for ceramic excellence at the turn of the century and currently on the National Register of Historic Places. After checking into the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza, a world renowned example of Art Deco design, enjoy a free evening to explore downtown Cincinnati.
Saturday, September 6
Begin with a tour of the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza and Carew Tower before visiting Cincinnati’s Union Terminal and enjoying a treat at the Rookwood Ice Cream Parlor. Depart for Springfield and a tour of the Westcott House, Wright’s only Prairie design in the state of Ohio. In the evening, enjoy Frank Lloyd Wright's Westcott House: A Centennial Tribute presented by the Westcott House Foundation. This intriguing, high-tech visual retrospective explores the innovative design of Wright, Springfield's golden era, the rise and decline of the Westcott House and the triumph of its recent restoration. The presentation will begin with a special welcome address by architect Eric Lloyd Wright, grandson of Frank Lloyd Wright, and will be accompanied by the Springfield Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Peter Stafford Wilson.
Sunday, September 7
Visit Covington, Kentucky for a group brunch and brief visit to significant architectural structures including the Roebling Suspension Bridge, the Ascent Towers at Roebling Bridge and St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, which boasts the world's largest stained glass window at a church. Before returning to Chicago, enjoy a private tour of Wright’s stunning two-story Usonian design, the Boulter House.
