Tuesday, October 12
Check into the historic Casa del Mar hotel on the beach in Santa Monica. Originally opened in 1926 as Club Casa del Mar, the Grande Dame beach club of the Santa Monica Shores, Casa del Mar has recently been restored to its original Renaissance Revival grandeur. Travel to Richard Meier’s fabulous Getty Center (1997) for a special architectural tour and explore the Getty’s world-renowned collection on your own.

Wednesday, October 13
Enjoy an in-depth bus tour of Los Angeles featuring designs by Frank Gehry, Richard Meier, R.M. Schindler, Frank Lloyd Wright, Lloyd Wright, I.M.Pei, and more. Visit Frank Lloyd Wright’s seminal Hollyhock House (1919-21), Wright’s first project in southern California as well as Wright’s Samuel Freeman house, which has been described as the clearest expression of Wright's development of the textile block construction system. 

Thursday, October 14
Enjoy a spectacular drive up the Pacific Coast Highway to Ojai, CA to visit the Greene and Greene home, Casa Barranca, otherwise known as the Pratt House. After your tour of this magnificently restored Arts and Crafts home overlooking the Ojai Valley, enjoy a group lunch on the Estate’s veranda followed by a wine tasting at the Casa Barranca Certified Organic Winery. Travel north along the Pacific Coast Highway to beautiful Santa Barbara for a visit to the Historic Santa Barbara Mission for an in-depth Art and Architecture tour.

Friday, October 15
Depart the beaches of Santa Barbara for the leafy hills of Pasadena for a fascinating VIP tour of the Gamble House (1908), widely acknowledged as Greene and Greene’s defining masterwork. Visit the magnificently restored Greene and Greene Laurabelle Robinson House (1905) featuring a private tour with the current homeowners as your guides.

Saturday, October 16
Enjoy the festivities of Pasadena Heritage’s Annual Craftsman Weekend, including lectures, tours, and browsing the offerings of some of the nations leading Arts and Crafts artisans and galleries. In the evening, experience a special tour and reception at the privately-owned Greene and Greene masterpiece, Blacker House (1907).

Sunday, October 17
Spend a full day enjoying the annual Craftsman Weekend bungalow walk featuring six of Pasadena’s most lovely, privately-owned bungalows. See the homes on your own, using our private bus to shuttle back and forth from the hotel.

Monday, October 18
Tour the Sam Maloof Historic Residence and Woodworking Studio. Nestled in a lemon grove near the San Gabriel Mountains, the residence is filled with Maloof furniture and one of America’s outstanding arts and crafts collections.
